1950's complete skydiving parachute rig 1952 candy-cane C9 5TU + Pioneer sleeve

Description

Complete 4 pin parachute container + C9 parachute canopy (modified for sport skydiving use)
This rig started it's life off in the 1950's as an aircrew bailout rig. Sometime in the 1960s it was converted for sport skydiving use.
5TU mod - done well, and all the cuts are bound with tape
black sport  sleeve included (made in 1961)
manufactured in the 1952 (earliest version of the C9, a "candy-cane" vs a quad-color)

It's obvious at some point in it's life the rig was somewhere with high humidity :
canopy had the orange stain the white panels - that's purely cosmetic
there is some corrosion on the metal parts, considering the age, it's minimal
This is a complete parachute rig with the canopy, sleeve, pilot chute and a ripcord. It will comes unpacked, with everything pictured.
This gear is almost 70 years old, but still looks good, and  will make a great conversation piece or a wall cover.
